Drive Clean Indiana and GOEVIN host several electric vehicle education and outreach events throughout Indiana year-round! From #municipal employees to local leaders to community members, they work to spread information about the environmental benefits of EVs to everyone. Some of their widely attended events include their National Drive Electric Month Ride & Drive at the Northwestern Indiana Regional Planning Commission and EV Ride & Drive hosted on Tire Rack’s test track in South Bend, IN! This Ride & Drive is hosted for local #lawenforcement and municipal employees to test drive EVs that would make sense in their fleets!

@drive_electric_arizona`s outreach and education activities include 50 to 60 events annually including at least 9 and as many as 15 Ride & Drives. DEAZ also holds many more EV showcases, and monthly #chapter or group rallies. Also, they manage our website and monthly newsletters to create energy and discussions around EVs, and also do a lot of #tribal outreach! Other facets of their work include assisting with several working groups, and maintaining and growing partnerships with utilities, fleets, cities, and government stakeholders. 🌵🚘⚡

In Connecticut, Drive Electric Connecticut is working with preferred #dealers like Karl Chevrolet, Litchfield Ford, and Sullivan Automotive to increase the purchase of EVs and educate the dealerships about trends in CT. 📈 By partnering with dealerships and hosting ride and drive events, they directly #engage with community members, and consumers have the opportunity to experience EVs hands on. In the past year, Drive Electric Montana has participated in a local parade to show off their chapter members` vehicles to the public, promoting the "#KeepBozemanFrozen" slogan to highlight zero tailpipe emissions and emphasize the importance of protecting their ski areas. ⛰️⛷️ They also hosted in 3-4 EV showcases where they invited chapter members, city officials, and local businesses with EVs to showcase their vehicles! DEMT also participated in several showcases on the Montana State University campus, as well as at a local Earth Day Festival. These outreach events have been a great way for them to connect with the public on EV education and advocacy across Montana. DEMT also holds monthly chapter meetings in Gallatin County that are advertised to the public to provide an opportunity to talk to EV owners and learn about their experience driving electric in their beautiful state. 🚘⚡

This collaborative event included EV and charger education, resulting in a publicly accessible map and report—compiled by participants—that outlines goals and potential charging locations. With over 30 attendees, DET united the region for the common goal of an electrified TN! 🚗⚡🌱

Collaboration with local entities enabled the project to meet specific needs of communities and develop targeted educational programs to ensure the effective maintenance of EV infrastructure. This groundwork facilitated the launch of the EVZion electric shuttle service, setting the stage for EV solutions to reach beyond just Zion!⚡🚌 #DEUSA

In 2023, Drive Electric Georgia created a two-part lecture series aimed at educating officials on all things EV, including funding opportunities and existing infrastructure⚡
The series enabled attendees to align with statewide goals and craft tailored local plans. A total of 65 local government officials from all over GA attended the lectures!🎉🚗🌱

Joining the Sustainable Fleets Conference and Expo helped PINC directly engage with fleet managers about #EV possibilities. To showcase how EVs can be used in government fleets, a Ride and Drive was held for local staff to experience the power themselves!

@driveelectricpa provided pathways to fleet electrification across the state!
Education and funding opportunities has allowed DEPA to help over 30 fleets go electric. The Driving PA Forward initiative has contributed to universities adopting electric buses, as well as cities and counties making significant strides in electrifying their fleets. 🚌⚡

Between 2020 and 2023, 14 states in the #DEUSA project engaged electric utilities in their states to
a) build stronger relationships towards collectively having a larger impact on relaying the benefits of transportation electrification to all stakeholders in the utility’s territory,
b) potentially bringing certain representatives on-board the state initiative (e.g., join the Steering Committee?),
c) discuss evolving best practices for utility EV programs and their unique partnerships and challenges, and
d) help drive new utility incentive program development. The map shows the wide variety of utilities that were engaged as well as a representation of their size, and type.

Drive Electric Florida worked hard to engage with local governments of East Central Florida to reach state transportation goals! DEFL hosted two webinar series focused on raising EV awareness and developing infrastructure for local leaders. These officials were also encouraged to attend the Florida Sustainable Transportation and Technology Expo to further their understanding.
