Fleet Success Stories
In the DEUSA projects (1 and 2), each state has utilized a few different mechanisms to engage fleets in discussions about electrifying their vehicles. This has included assistance and discussions about all kinds of battery electric vehicles (BEVs) like on-road light-duty and medium/heavy-duty vehicles, municipal fleets, school districts, as well as nonroad vehicles (such as electric terminal tractors). A large survey was part of the work and includes following up with respondents about their interests in BEVs.
Access the fleet stories by state by clicking on the truck icon on each state in the map, or see the list of states further down the page. (In the map, the yellow icons are representing DEUSA1 project states and so their fleet stories are a few years older.) Please note that some of the white-icon states’ fleet stories are still being loaded onto this website in October and November 2026!
